Dude what are you talking about. Sewaddle levels around 20, and then my swadloon evolved at level 27. Just use it in a gym battle and make sure it doesnt faint. Oh by the way, thanks for the new backround!
Flash is much, much faster and convenient for drawing in. I drew the entire character in Flash, lineart and all, and just colored it in Photoshop. This character was drawn entirely in flash, even the coloring: [link] If I had attempted that in Illustrator, it would've taken me days to finish!
In what ways do you find Flash more convenient? I know Flash's interface is more similar to Photoshop's than Illustrator's.
Sorry for asking so much. I'm teaching myself Flash and Illustrator, so I want to see other people's methods of using them. I've always enjoyed your art style, so it interests me how and why you use the program.
Well in Flash you can draw freehand vectors, like drawing in photoshop. Illustrator is very limited in that aspect, and you pretty much have to use pen tools and be a lot more exact. I would never suggest people drawing in Illustrator...it's just too time consuming. A lot of people think it's amazing how people can draw such detailed vectors, but then I'm like 'you could have done that easily in flash, what's the big deal D:' I loooove illustrator for graphic design, it's the only program I really need for that. Photoshop is great for detailed works that involve soft shading, and flash is convenient for cell and gradient shaded images and animations.
I hate to bother you so much, but I'm very curious about it. Could you teach me more, or maybe a small, quick tutorial of some of the different things you know how to do in Flash?
I actually have a project I'm currently working on where I have to do small animals (doggies, kitties, bunnies, mice, etc) for a game. I was asked to do them in Illustrator, but every time I try, I feel like I'm struggling so much with it. I'm wondering if maybe it would be easier for to do it in Flash, especially since these drawings might have minor animations.
Well...I don't have a lot of time to do a tutorial, but the only tools I really use to draw in flash are the brush and the eraser. Under the paintbrush is a little circle with dropdown settings to draw only on selected fills, paint behind, etc. I use the selected fills so whatever area I click on is the area I shade in. Whala!

there's two easy (kind of) ways to get this pokemon. (1) dig around in shaking grass at lostlorn forest (5% chance though!) (2) use a soothe bell, get your bicycle, give the bell to your swadloon, and run all over the skyline bridge (or whatev it's called) several times until you get 15000+ steps, then level up your swadloon!
I agree with CombuskensFlame, the design you did in the background, along with the composition show that you put a lot more thought into this than some typical pieces of fanart I see. Which makes sense in my head. And aw! I thought this was the evolved form of Sewaddle!
I made sure to catch the lowest level Sewaddle I could find in Pinwheel Forest(LV.14) and pretty much only had it fight Audino's to level up fast. Also theirs a store in Castelia City were you can give your Pokemon a Message and also u should put Swadloon in front of your party and run across the Skyarrow Bridge a couple of times.
Trust me, it works, and a Leavanny and also a Swoobat are well worth the happiness cause both are destructive.
